Running Races

She did it! Tracey, a good friend of ours who happens to be married to our Pastor, did it!! She ran from her house to ours...2.5 miles long. She left her house @6:30 AM and arrived at our house @7:00AM. Amazing! She actually sat down, carried on a conversation, drank 2 bottles of water before I drove her back home. She's a wonder woman!

Tracey is getting in shape to run a 5k race in two weeks. Talk about determination and focus. We'll know she is ready for the race when she can run to our house, drink a bottle of water and run back to her house :)

The Lord has given us a race to run. His plan for our lives is always perfect. Are we determined and focused to run that race well?

Running the race of life has it's hills, it's valleys and it's obstacles. Sometimes we feel overwhelmed and sometimes we feel like we can run like the wind. Ultimately, whatever circumstances we are in we can always depend on the One who perfectly equipts us. He is always there cheering us on to the "finish line."

May we as His children run well to finish the race that is set before us.

Hebrews 12:1b ...and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
