Do you remember the little song "Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other's gold"? Well, we had a former church family drop in our morning service that we hadn't seen in a few years. It was so good to see them. They looked great and seemed to be doing fine. They didn't stay long but long enough to get caught up on what's been happening. That is one of the blessings of the Body of Christ... you can drop in for a visit after not seeing each other for a while and continue where you had left off. In my husband's recent post he wrote about the importance of the church. Church attendance is so important. If I had not been in church last Sunday I would have missed a blessing of being edified as it says in Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Thanks for taking the time for a golden visit, friends!
